Description:
A creature of great brilliance stands before you, a brilliance perhaps dulled by the dystopia, not so much dulled, rather interwoven, the underlying flamboyance peeking and prodding from beneath its confines in brief, luminescent gleams. He is a Tallfellow Hallfling, reaching a mere four, his skin tight and gaunt, his features aquiline, borderline effeminate; a femininity more imitative of the common grandma as opposed to the common lass. A walking character, this stark, unapologetic (a nose upturned) Hin is likely some sort of highly esteemed intellectual, whether self validated or otherwise. He is constantly scribbling -- musing, and sniffling, tissues in hand and tomes and quills and flasks and stuff; this Hin is an obvious utilitarian (in the literal sense).
He doesn't seem physically capable, more graceful than average, although that mound of dusty hair seems to constantly fall within his field of vision, a nail-bitten group of fingers quick to brush the lopsided curls aside. Two large blue eyes (guarded by smudged spectacles) gaze about with wonder and intrigue. He sports a round, soft, boyish face that seems to have been taken and stretched across anxious bones -- there is no sag, no jowl. His skin is pale, deep reds gracing cheeks and lips and nose -- elbows and fingers and knees and soles and ears.
Magnifying lenses and pouches and other rogue's tools dangle and peer out from satchels, implying that he is either some type of criminal or a highly practical adventurer. His attire is practical, albeit fashionable, when it can be.
History:
Once a servant to a wealthy Noble, the Hin child was noted by the residing wizard and alchemist that the boy was exceptionally intelligent. He was taken on as the wizard's (a generalist) apprentice and began a new kind of grueling, albeit privileged existence. Said wizard became very possessive of young Luco, and began to employ radical, authoritarian curfews, locking the Hin inside his room at night and forcing him through near constant supervision.
Although fearful of losing his place in the esate, the Hin began to learn ways around his confines. He was able to teach himself the art of stealth and lock picking to a certain extent. His poor upbringing came in handy, although he was not quick as dextrous as his Hin cousins.
At the age of 20, now entering manhood, the zombie stuff started happening. I don't know what the lore is specifically, but this is when the zombie stuff started happening. And now it's been five years.
