Samir listens to the fat dwarf ramble. "barkin Golems, bein' Fark Fark..."
...Samir's common isn't that good. He tunes out the dwarf's rambling and turns to the object of its ire.
Oh my.
The eyes. The hair. The helmet. The stone smooth skin. It's so, so
Shiny.
Samir covets the golem.
Strategy time.
The helmet is easy to grab. Samir could easily bully the cowardly one into grabbing it if he wanted to avoid the attention. But what about the sapphire eyes? Those are much more tricky.
Maybe he could borrow a spoon from the tiny dragons in the kitchen. Nah.
Maybe he could borrow one of Krekeke's knives. But that coward is nowhere to be seen.
Maybe Samir is going about this the wrong way. What if he tried diplomacy.
Samir considers trading Merin's purse for the golem's eyes. This is a great idea. Gold is much more her color.
But how to get Merin's purse? The halfling has a close watch on his gold. Samir could just grab the hin's last one from his stash, but alas samir is both lazy and may or may not lack object permanence.
If only Krekeke were here to cause a distraction. Samir mentally makes a note to beat him up the next time he sees the smaller bird.
Samir sighs. Perhaps he will just have to wait for another day.
