Physical Description
Enra stands quite tall by Elven standards. She has somewhat soft features in comparison to most elves, though her determined and knowing gaze quickly clarifies. Her natural posture can be standoffish when around those she deems unfamiliar, and only subtly different when among companions.
Her gaze can be stern, calming, or an odd mix of both. Enra's long brown hair is often tucked neatly back over her ears. Her soft heart-shaped face lies about her past, and the current world.
Personality
Her soft-spoken and gentle way of speaking can sometimes be misleading. She is stubborn and resilient in the eyes of those who truly know her. Enra strives for survival and seeks to help others with a similar goal, however is unlikely to ask for help due to her childish nature and pride.
Enra's closed upbringing in a Wood Elven community has guided her understanding of the broad world, however as a curious spirit she always tries to understand others at least once. She perceives her own troubles as a hurdle to personally deal with, and will go to great lengths to avoid burdening others.
History
Enra was born into a nomadic tribe of wood elves who roamed Faerun since their native years. A sense of pride and entitlement encumbered the group, as it was preached that they were the original occupants. Although true, Enra had found it difficult to grasp the learned logic and harsh xenophobic mindset. She had always been curious about other races and the lifestyle they led. Though not necessarily wanting or particularly fond of other races, she often found herself pestering her parents for their experiences crossing paths with Dwarves from the north and humans from the city. Their descriptions were harsh and belittling, however Enra was curious none the less.
Her mother and father were a couple of the few rangers within the tribe. Her father, Theven, was a stern and highly respected member of the tribe. Whenever situations occurred resulting in a council being formed, Theven was called almost immediately. His calculating and calm nature were characteristic enough for most to want him to lead the tribe, however he always refused. Enra's mother, Shadi, was something of a polar opposite. She was passionate and needed no encouragement to voice her opinion. Thankfully Enra took the best of both parents.
Their duties were to scout areas ahead and conceal the tribe's movements within nature's natural obscurities. They were highly experienced and well thought of, and by relation Enra was just as good as her parents. Though young she was often trusted with the tasks of scouting. She scouted with her parents to learn the trade and learn she did, far quicker than most.
Enra's particular tribe were traditional through and through, however were cautiously aware of the spread of influence of other races throughout Faerun. They saw it as corruption in their lands and partnered with the observations throughout many centuries of co-existence, deemed it a lost cause to attempt to reclaim. With this as a main prerogative, they embarked westward to find a new land free of corruption, where they might keep the lands clean and pure.
Their journey was concise and well-planned, however incredibly unfortunate. A storm ensued which proved to be a climactic catalyst of change for their lives. Their ships crashed on the shores of Siranda. The quick decision was made to embark and find sufficient supplies to repair their ship. The tribe were by no means experienced sailors and the ship was bought.
The decision was empty however when discovered the fate of the island. The tribe moved through the forests within Siranda, which confirmed that which they already knew. It wasn't long before the tribe was surrounded and then scattered.
Forlorn to say, Enra was not experienced in combat. Shadi was able to protect them both long enough for Theven to regroup, however no longer grouped with the tribe, they were unable to find others. Hours and days dragged by prolonging the game of cat and mouse. Enra guessed it to be a week before her mother finally fell. She learned what love was when Theven urged her on to escape so that he could defend his life companion, knowing his certain demise.
Weeks passed before Enra found any sign of her tribe. She knew they were attacked and scattered. Gathering tools and supplies left behind, she journeyed on to live as a survivor.
