Shield cannot be traded/dropped; Legacy of the Voice Part II

There's a shield in my inventory that I cannot drop, trade, or get rid of. It's haunting me, and I've had enough. I've not idea what could be causing this but.. yeah, it could be that one specific shield type. The shield, by the way, is the Feathered Tower Shield.
Also, I'm still getting attacked by 'the voice' in Sundered Desolation's bottom floor. I think I have an npc problem.. *Looks over at the Vipers..* -_-'
