Gloirin ventured deep in the cave system of the magnet mines , far more deep into it than he would do usually, he never really ventured this far, he knew this area was protected by the Drow, and they could be quite the challenge if pushed too hard, as soon as he entered he got shot at and had no choice but to retaliate, he spent a while, and perhaps after a few hours he killed each drow protecting that area, until its safe enough to explore why they were safe-guarding the area, before long he can see why, he looks ate the veins of metal in each wall, almost in disbelief, he recognized those metals with no problem, there were several veins of mithril, and several veins of adamantine, he couldn't believe how much was there, it looked that each vein only had the pure metal in it that he seen as well, he recons that if he digs enough at the mithril vein it would only be mithril he found, likewise with adamantine, there might be a few rare gems as well, he thinks to himself, taking his trusty pick-axe from a box, and putting his hammer in it, he starts going to one of the veins, and starts mining it, and he does so until he cannot get any more of the metal from it, and it's just rock that he would find, he takes a long time doing this, he was himself, but he knew he had a lot of work ahead of him, and that only encouraged him to work harder at his task, when he hits the rock that is left, and only the rock, he moves onto the next vein, and the next, until it would only be rock he hits, he also keeps any gems he finds when mining, you never know when a gem is needed, or when one might have properties, like that red one his kin gave him.
He counted each vein up in his head, from what he can see by looking at the walls them-self, is that there is at least four mithril veins of ore, and six veins of adamantine ore, there could be a lot of metal from these if he's luck and they run as deep as he hopes, now he knows why the cave was as protected, and why they wanted to protect it, they fired upon him as soon as he entered the area, and had to retaliate, but now he knows why there was a s big of a force protecting it, and his obsidian eyes practically glimmer, with the hopes of good quality veins, and the amount of metal he could get from all of them , and so, with his trusty pick in hand, he just gets to work, the sounds of the pick digging into the stone and metal, all too familiar to him, the sound ringing in his mind, as he lets his body do the work for him, moving in a well practiced and reformed technique, used over the countless ears that he has been mining for, acting naturally as he moves, almost as natural as the way he moves when smithing of metal working, he lets his body take over and continues to mine, only really counting the metal gained at the end of each vein , counting it all up after he only gets stone coming from them, it would take him a long time, but he quite likes a challenge, and the prospect of mining all of this metal, so he continues on with his task, not stopping until he is done.
His dedication rang true, he kept on going with his work until he was finished, not stopping to tell his clan if he was ok , not stopping to let anyone know where he was, he was focused and hard at work, he knew he would see them again, and he would have something good to show his clan and his kin with his next visit to his home, Dumathoin.
