Mathilda
Female, dwarf, Cleric of Lathander
Height: 1.50m (4'11")
Weight: 65kg (143lbs)
Hair: Light brown / Eyes: Light green
The only daughter of a dwarven merchant, Ragora grew up travelling around the West Coast of Faerun with her parents, helping them organize their goods and keep everything tidy. Unlike most Dwarves, Ragora's family had a taste for the outside world, the sea, the sun, forests and all the other wonders of the world, and in that sense she was much like her parents.
Once, an elven client from the High Forest requested a large amount of dwarven Mithril in order to forge ten fine armors for the highest ranking priests of a church. Arriving at the village, they were greeted by Elurithel, the local leader of the church of Lathander, who invited them to stay for the night.
What was suppose to last one night ended up lasting a whole week, as the dwarves were delighted to see the wonders of this fine elven city. Elurithel took a great interest in Ragora, and spent most of the time in her company, escorting her around and preaching the word of The Morninglord to her. On their last night at the city, Elurithel came into Mathilda's room and said to her: "The Morninglord has granted me a sight of the future. He wants you for his daughter, and you shall bear his seal and your light will be everlasting". That very night, while asleep, Ragora had a dream that was almost too real. Lathander reached forth and embraced her with his warm glow, and at that moment her heart was his.
The next day, Ragora bode her parents farewell and joined the church of Lathander. She now responds to a new name, Mathilda, Bringer of light.

When the undead onslaught started in Siranda, the church of Lathander took great in this plague and sent some expeditions to fight back the undead hordes and search for the source of this curse. Mathilda was one of the firsts to volunteer. Her party consisted of four members: a halfling scout, a human warrior, a high ranking elven priest and herself - also a priest.
On their second night on the island, their camp was taken by surprise during the middle of night by a massive horde of zombies. Although willing to fight back, she realized her efforts would be in vain at the moment, and that Lathander would not want her life wasted in an act of foolishness, so instead she fled and, with the aid of the powers bestowed upon her by The Morninglord, she managed to safely reach a seemingly abandoned house inside the city. There she found others, and there her struggle would continue.
